Hotel Yakushima Sanso, Yakushima (Kagoshima)

I had a great time at the hotel, especially with its spacious rooms that were clean and well-kept, although the building did show its age. The service was outstanding, particularly when they prepared bentos for my long hikes. The location was perfect for accessing hiking trails and enjoying the beautiful river view. However, the dining options could use a bit more variety for breakfast, but overall, it was a very good value for my stay.
